Wheels churning and axles grinding, learn the skills of observation, planning and maneuvring as you tackle side slopes, steep inclines and rutted tracks in this challenging 4x4 driving experience. This course is both fun and serious skills acquisition all rolled into one. Your instructor will soon have you driving off-road like an expert, and you'll certainly regard 4WD vehicles with new respect in future.

How it works: You spend the money, they recieve a gift box with the important information, they book or order their gift.

What happens on the day

When you arrive at the 4x4 driving centre, you will normally be asked to sign an indemnity form which will also require parental/guardian signature for under 18’s. Your session will usually be shared with other drivers. You will be given an initial briefing, followed by detailed training from an instructor before being allowed to experience 4x4 driving yourself under his/her guidance once you are judged to be safe enough.

Need to know

  • Minimum age 17 (under 18’s need parental/guardian consent)
  • You should be in reasonable health and agile enough to climb into the vehicle
  • You should hold a full UK Driving licence
  • Minimum height 5’ (152cms), maximum height 6’4” (193cms)
  • Maximum weight 18 stone (114kgs)
  • The 4x4 driving experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue
